Section 1Citation and Commencement

These Rules may be cited as the Trade Marks (Amendment) Rules 2008 and shall come into force on 1st October 2008.

Section 2Amendment of the Trade Marks Rules 2008

In Rule 40, paragraph (1) of the Trade Marks Rules 2008 delete “applicant” and substitute “proprietor”.
