Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Community Legal Service (Financial) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2008.

Section 2 Citation and commencement

These Regulations come into force on 3rd November 2008.

Section 3 Amendments to the Community Legal Service (Financial) Regulations 2000

The Community Legal Service (Financial) Regulations 2000 are amended as follows.

Section 4 Amendments to the Community Legal Service (Financial) Regulations 2000

For regulation 3(1)(e), substitute—

(e) Legal Help in potential proceedings, or Legal Representation in proceedings or potential proceedings, under the Mental Health Act 1983 or paragraph 5(2) of the Schedule to the Repatriation of Prisoners Act 1984 , where the client’s case or application is, or is to be, the subject of proceedings before the First-tier Tribunal or the Mental Health Review Tribunal for Wales;
