Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Appointments Commission (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 8th December 2008.

Section 2Amendment of regulation 2 of the Appointments Commission Regulations 2006

In regulation 2 of the Appointments Commission Regulations 2006 (membership of the Commission)—
(a) in paragraph (1), for “five” substitute “four”; and
(b) in paragraph (2), for “four” substitute “three”.
