Section 1Citation, commencement, extent and cessation of charges

(1) This Order may be cited as the Wool Textile Industry (Export Promotion Levy) (Revocation) Order 2008, shall extend to England and Wales and Scotland, and shall come into force on the day after it is made.

(2) The provisions of Article 6 of the Wool Textile Industry (Export Promotion Levy) Order 1970 shall not impose on any person any charge in respect of any period after 30th September 2008.

Section 2Revocation

The Wool Textile Industry (Export Promotion Levy) Order 1970, the Wool Textile Industry (Export Promotion Levy) (Amendment) Order 1971 and the Wool Textile Industry (Export Promotion Levy) (Amendment) Order 1982 are revoked.
