Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2008.

Section 2 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) Except for regulation 8 these Regulations come into force on 1st January 2009.

(2) Regulation 8 comes into force on 1st September 2009.

Section 3 Citation, commencement and interpretation

In these Regulations, “the Principal Regulations ” means the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (No. 2) Regulations 2006 .

Section 4 Amendment of the Principal Regulations

The Principal Regulations are amended in accordance with these Regulations.

Section 5 Amendment of the Principal Regulations

In Regulation 3 in the definition of “relevant date” for “2008” substitute “2009”.

Section 6 Amendment of the Principal Regulations

In Regulation 8(3) for each occurrence of “2008” substitute “2009”.

Section 7 Amendment of the Principal Regulations

In Regulation 9(17)—

(a) for each occurrence of “2008” substitute “2009”; and

(b) for “2009” substitute “2010”.

Section 8 Amendment of the Principal Regulations

The Schedule to these Regulations has effect to substitute the figures in the third column of the table for the figures in the second column where they appear in the provisions of the Principal Regulations set out in the first column.
