Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Overseas Territories) (Gibraltar) (Revocations) (No. 2) Order 2008 and comes into force on such day as the Governor of Gibraltar may appoint by proclamation published in the Gibraltar Gazette.

Section 2Revocation of the Civil Aviation Act 1949 (Overseas Territories) Order 1969

The Civil Aviation Act 1949 (Overseas Territories) Order 1969 is revoked insofar as it applies to Gibraltar.

Section 3Revocation of the Civil Aviation Act 1971 (Overseas Territories) Order 1976

The Civil Aviation Act 1971 (Overseas Territories) Order 1976 , which has been revoked in respect of its application to certain territories other than Gibraltar, is now also revoked in respect of its application to Gibraltar.

Section 4Revocation of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Overseas Territories) (No. 2) Order 2001

The Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Overseas Territories) (No 2) Order 2001 is revoked insofar as it applies to Gibraltar.
