Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the UK Borders Act 2007 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2008.

Section 2 Commencement

The following provisions of the UK Borders Act 2007 shall come into force on 6 th January 2009 —

(a) section 21 (children);

(b) for all remaining purposes, section 51 (Border and Immigration Inspectorate: plans); and

(c) for all remaining purposes, sections 52 and 53 (Border and Immigration Inspectorate: relationship with other bodies).
