Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Intestate Succession (Interest and Capitalisation) (Amendment) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 1st February 2009.

Section 2Amendment of Intestate Succession (Interest and Capitalisation) Order 1977
(1) In paragraph (2) of article 3 of the Intestate Succession (Interest and Capitalisation) Order 1977 —
(a) omit “average”; and
(b) omit “medium coupon”.
(2) For the Schedule to the Intestate Succession (Interest and Capitalisation) Order 1977, substitute the Schedule to this Order.
