Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform Act 2007 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2008.

(2) In this Order any reference to a numbered section or Schedule is a reference to a section of, or Schedule to, the Welfare Reform Act 2007.

Section 2 Appointed days

11th December 2008 is the day appointed for the coming into force of—

(a) section 29 so far as relating to paragraph 10 (post-commencement up-rating of incapacity benefit and severe disablement allowance) of Schedule 4 (transition relating to Part 1); and

(b) paragraph 10 of Schedule 4.
