Section 1Citation and Commencement

This Order may be cited as the Greater London Authority (Mayor of London Appointments) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 6th April 2008.

Section 2Appointments and Organisations prescribed by the Secretary of State

There are prescribed for the purposes of section 377A of the Greater London Authority Act (the Mayor’s duty to exercise certain powers of appointment) the descriptions of appointment specified in the first column of the Schedule in the case of the bodies shown opposite them in the second column.
