Section 1Citation and Commencement

This Order may be cited as the Child Benefit Up-rating Order 2008 and shall come into force on 7th April 2008.

Section 2Amendment of the Child Benefit (Rates) Regulations 2006

In regulation 2(1) of the Child Benefit (Rates) Regulations 2006 —
(a) in sub-paragraph (a) for “£18.10” substitute “£18.80”; and
(b) in sub-paragraph (b) for “£12.10” substitute “£12.55”.
