Section 1

This Order may be cited as the A5117 Trunk Road (Parkgate Road Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 26th June 2009.

Section 2

In this Order–

(i) “the new trunk road” means the new highway which the Secretary of State is authorised to provide by the A550 and A5117 Trunk Roads (Improvement between the M56 and A548) and Connecting Roads Order 2006;

(ii) “the trunk road” means the A5117 Trunk Road;

(iii) “the plan” means the plan numbered HA/10/MP/106, marked the A5117 Trunk Road (A540 Parkgate Road Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 2009 signed by the authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Department for Transport Information Management Division, Ashdown House, Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards- on Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7GA; and

Section 3

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad hatching on the plan shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies Cheshire County Council.
