Section 1 Citation, extent and commencement

This Order—

(a) may be cited as the Financial Assistance for Environmental Purposes (England and Wales) Order 2009;

(b) extends to England and Wales only; and

(c) comes into force on 15th July 2009.

Section 2 Variation of section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990

In section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (purposes for which financial assistance may be given), after paragraph (zz), add—

(aaa) the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership Limited, in relation to its activities as respects England and Wales.
