Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (Procedure for Revocation, Variation or Refusal of Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 1st October 2009.

Section 2 Amendment of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (Procedure for Revocation, Variation or Refusal of Licences) Regulations 2009

(1) The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (Procedure for Revocation, Variation or Refusal of Licences) Regulations 2009 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 4(1) (notice of exercise of right and accompanying documents), omit “required by section 19(5) of the Act”.

(3) Omit regulation 10 (power to summons witnesses and require production of documents).

(4) Omit regulation 15(1) (summonsing the person concerned to be a witness).
