Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Protection of Wrecks (Designation) (England) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 25th September 2009.

Section 2 Identification of site and designation of restricted area

(1) The site in respect of which this Order is made is identified as the site where a vessel lies, or is supposed to lie, wrecked on or in the sea bed in position Latitude 50°53.45′ North, Longitude 00°41.76′ East .

(2) The area within a distance of 100 metres of the site identified in paragraph (1), excluding any part of that area above the high water mark of ordinary spring tides, shall be designated as a restricted area for the purposes of the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973.

Section 3 Revocations

The Protection of Wrecks (Designation No.1) Order 1992 is revoked.
