Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Building and Approved Inspectors (Amendment No.2) Regulations 2009.

(2) These Regulations shall come into force on 30th September 2009.

Section 2Amendments to the Building and Approved Inspectors (Amendment) Regulations 2009

The Building and Approved Inspectors (Amendment) Regulations 2009 are amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 1(2) (citation and commencement), for “1st October 2009” substitute “6th April 2010”;

(b) in regulation 5(1), (2) and (3) (transitional provisions: work already commenced), for “1st October 2009” substitute “6th April 2010”

(c) in regulation 6 (transitional provisions: work for which full plans are not required), for “1st October 2009” substitute “6th April 2010 and for “6th April 2010” substitute “1st October 2010;

(d) in regulation 7 (transitional provisions: full plans), for “1st October 2009” substitute “6th April 2010” and for “1st October 2010” substitute “6th April 2011”; and

(e) in regulation 8 (transitional provisions: plans certificates), for “1st October 2009” in both places where it occurs substitute “6th April 2010”, and for “1st October 2010” substitute “6th April 2011.

In the Building (Amendment No.2) Regulations 2009 , in regulation 1(2) (citation and commencement), for “1st October 2009” substitute “6th April 2010”.
