Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2009.

Section 2 Commencement

The following provisions of the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 come into force on 26th October 2009—

(a) section 3(5) and (6) (Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority etc );

(b) paragraphs 1 to 8 of Schedule 1 (Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority);

(c) Schedule 3 (Speaker’s Committee for the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority).
