Section 1

This Instrument may be cited as “The Worcestershire County Council (Diglis Bridge) Scheme 2009 Confirmation Instrument 2009” and shall come into force on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 2

The Worcestershire County Council (Diglis Bridge) Scheme 2009 (“the Scheme”), and as set out in the Schedule, is hereby confirmed without modifications.

Section 3

The Scheme as confirmed is set out in the Schedule hereto (including the plan) copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Department for Transport, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex, TN37 7GA, and at the offices of the Council of Worcestershire County Council at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester WR5 2NP.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to construct the bridge to form a footpath/cycle track (with a right of way on foot) over the navigable waters of the River Severn specified in the Schedule as part of the highway that they are proposing to improve between Navigation Road, Diglis, and Weir Lane, Lower Wick, Worcestershire in the City of Worcester.

Section 2

This Scheme may be cited as The Worcestershire County Council (Diglis Bridge) Scheme 2009.
