Section 1Citation and commencement
These Rules may be cited as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Midwifery and Practice Committees) (Constitution) (Amendment) Rules 2009 and come into force on 23rd November 2009.

Section 2Amendments
In the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Midwifery and Practice Committees) (Constitution) Rules Order of Council 2008 , in rule 6 (The Practice Committees)—
(a) in paragraph (1)(a) (which relates to the Investigating Committee), for “60” substitute “180”; and
(b) in paragraph (1)(c) (which relates to the Health Committee), for “50” substitute “120”.
