Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Derelict Land Clearance Area (Drake Gardens, Tavistock) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 23 rd December 2009.

Section 2 Derelict Land Clearance Area

(1) Subsections (1) to (6) of section 1 of the Derelict Land Act 1982 shall have effect in relation to the land in the locality shown bounded by the outside edge of a bold red line on the map as they have effect in relation to land in a development area or intermediate area.

(2) In paragraph (1) “the map” means the map marked “Map referred to in the Derelict Land Clearance Area (Drake Gardens, Tavistock) Order 2009” and signed by authority of the Secretary of State, duplicates of which have been deposited, and are available for inspection, at the offices of the West Devon Borough Council and at the offices of the Secretary of State.
