Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Blood Safety and Quality (Fees Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 1st April 2009.

(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations 2005 .

Section 2 Amendment of regulation 22 of the principal Regulations

(1) Regulation 22 of the principal Regulations (fees) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (2)—

(a) in sub-paragraph (a), for “£2,927” substitute “£3,044”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (b), for “£493” substitute “£513”; and

(c) in sub-paragraph (c), for “£440” substitute “£458”.
