The Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement No.5) Order 2009
(1) The provisions of the Northern Ireland (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 specified in paragraph (2) shall come into force on 11 March 2009.
(2) The provisions referred to in paragraph (1) are—
(a) section 16 (conditions for devolving policing and justice matters);
(b) section 17 together with Schedule 2 (department with policing and justice functions);
(c) section 18 (power of Assembly to call for witnesses and documents);
(d) section 19 (provision for transfer of functions relating to extradition etc. );
(e) section 20 (provision for entrenching enactments);
(f) section 30(1) (minor and consequential amendments etc.) in so far as it relates to the provision referred to in sub-paragraph (g); and
(g) Part 3 of Schedule 4 (devolution of policing and justice functions etc.).
