Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Building (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 1st April 2009.

Section 2 Amendment of the Building Regulations 2000

(1) The Building Regulations 2000 are amended as follows.

(2) In the Table in Schedule 2A (self-certification schemes)—

(a) in column 2 of paragraph 2 after “A person registered by” insert “Capita Gas Registration and Ancillary Services Limited or”;

(b) in column 2 of paragraph 9 for “The Electrical Contractors Association Limited” substitute “ EC Certification Limited ”;

(c) in column 2 of paragraph 10 omit “ELECSA Limited,”; and

(d) in column 2 of paragraph 11 for “ELECSA Limited” substitute “EC Certification Limited”.
