The Park Lane College, Leeds, Leeds Thomas Danby College, and Leeds Technology College (Dissolution) Order 2009

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Park Lane College, Leeds, Leeds Thomas Danby College, and Leeds Technology College (Dissolution) Order 2009 and comes into force on 31st March 2009.

Section 2

On 31st March 2009 the corporations are to be dissolved and all of their property, rights and liabilities shall be transferred to Leeds City College, being a body corporate established for purposes which include the provision of educational facilities or services.

Section 3

Section 26(2), (3) and (4) of the Act applies to any person employed by any of the corporations immediately before 31st March 2009 as if the references in that section —

(a) to a person to whom that section applies were to a person so employed;

(b) to the operative date were to 31st March 2009;

(c) to the transferor were to the corporation in question; and

(d) to the corporation were to Leeds City College.
