Section 1
This Order may be cited as the A52 Trunk Road (A46 Newark to Widmerpool Improvement and Slip Roads) (Detrunking) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 30th January 2009.

Section 2
In this Order—
(i) “the new trunk road” means the new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct referred to in article 2 of the A52 Trunk Road (A46 Newark to Widmerpool Improvement and Slip Roads) Order 2009. ;
(ii) “the trunk road” means the A52 Trunk Road
Section 3
The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the Nottinghamshire County Council that the new trunk roads are open for traffic.
