Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No.8 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 3 April 2009.

Section 2
In articles 2(2) and 4(1) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No.8 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2005 , for the words “4 th April 2009” there shall be substituted the words “4 th April 2010”.
Section 3
The Criminal Justice Act 2003 (Commencement No.8 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2007 is revoked.
