Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 6th April 2009.

Section 2 Amendment to the Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002

(1) Regulation 1(5) of the Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002 is amended as follows.

(2) In the definition of “British Standard Requirements” for the words from “2001 IEE Wiring Regulations” to the end substitute “2008 IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition ( ISBN 978-0-86341-844-0)”.
