Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Amendments and Revocations) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 6 th April 2009.

Section 2 Extension outside Great Britain

The amendments made by regulation 3(1) and Schedule 1 to —

(1) The instruments referred to in Schedule 1 are amended in accordance with that Schedule.

(2) The instruments referred to in Schedule 2 are revoked.

For paragraph (7) of regulation 24 of the Genetically Modified Organisms (Contained Use) Regulations 2000 , substitute —

(7) Copies of the register as regards Great Britain shall be maintained at the offices of the Executive at Redgrave Court, Merton Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 7HS.
