Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 14th April 2009.

(2) These Regulations do not extend to Scotland.

Section 2 Prescribed police stations

The police stations listed in Schedule 1 (in England and Wales) and Schedule 2 (in Northern Ireland) to these Regulations are hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 87(1)(a) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Section 3 Revocation

The Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) Regulations 2005 are hereby revoked.
