(1) This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces (Civilians Subject to Service Discipline) Order 2009 and comes into force on 31st October 2009.
(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Armed Forces Act 2006.

The organisation listed in Schedule 1 is specified for the purposes of paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
The organisations listed in Schedule 2 are specified for the purposes of paragraph 6 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
(1) The areas listed in paragraph 1 of Schedule 3 are designated for the purposes of paragraphs 4, 6 and 9 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
(2) The areas listed in paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 are designated for the purposes of paragraph 8 of Schedule 15 to the Act.
The following are designated areas for the purposes of paragraphs 4, 6 and 9 of Schedule 15 to the Act—
Brunei Darussalam
the Falkland Islands
the Federal Republic of Germany
Gibraltar
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan
the Republic of Iraq
The following are designated areas for the purposes of paragraph 8 of Schedule 15 to the Act—
Belize
Brunei Darussalam
the Falkland Islands
the Federal Republic of Germany
Gibraltar
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
the Republic of Cyprus
the Republic of Turkey
the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia
the State of Kuwait
the Sultanate of Oman
