Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Modification) Order 2009 and comes into force on 20th May 2009.

Section 2 Modification of the Northern Ireland Act 1998

In section 87(6) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 at the end add—

(v) the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 , the Mesothelioma, etc. , Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 , and the Child Maintenance Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 ;

(w) the Pensions Act 2008 and the Pensions ( No. 2) Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 .
