This Order may be cited as the Isles of Scilly (Children Act 1989) Order 2010 and comes into force on 26th April 2010.

Section 2Application of the Children Act 1989 with modification
(1) The Children Act 1989 shall in its application to the Isles of Scilly have effect with the modification in paragraph (2).
(2) In relation to the Isles of Scilly, any reference to a “local authority” is to be construed as a reference to the Council of the Isles of Scilly.
