Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Representation of the People (Timing of the Canvass) (Northern Ireland) Order 2010 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it was made.

Section 2Timing of canvass
The Chief Electoral Officer for Northern Ireland shall not, under section 10ZA(1)(a) of the Representation of the People Act 1983, be required to conduct a canvass in the year 2010.
