Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Midland Metro Order 2010 and shall come into force on 20th July 2010.

Section 2Modification of Midland Metro Act 1989

(1) Subsection (1) of section 9 (requirements applicable to tramways) of the Midland Metro Act 1989 , including that provision as applied by any of the other Midland Metro Acts specified in paragraph (2), shall cease to have effect.
(2) The other Midland Metro Acts specified are:
The Midland Metro Act 1992 ;
The Midland Metro (No.2) Act 1992 ;
The Midland Metro Act 1993 ; and
The Midland Metro (No.2) Act 1993 .
