Section 1Citation and interpretation
(1) This Order may be cited as the Children, Schools and Families Act 2010 (Commencement No.1) Order 2010.
(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Children, Schools and Families Act 2010.

The Children, Schools and Families Act 2010 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2010
Section 2Provisions coming into force on 19th July 2010
19th July 2010 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act—
sections 5 and 6;
paragraph 2 of Schedule 3, and section 25 so far as it relates to that paragraph of that Schedule.
Section 3Provisions coming into force on 1st September 2010
1st September 2010 is the day appointed for the coming into force of sections 1 and 2 of the Act.
Section 4Provisions coming into force on 1st April 2011
1st April 2011 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 4(2), (3) and (4) of the Act.
