Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Children and Young Persons Act 2008 (Commencement No. 3) (England) Order 2010.

Section 2 Appointed day

15th November 2010 is the appointed day for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Children and Young Persons Act 2008 in relation to England—

(a) section 8(2) and Schedule 1 in so far as they relate to paragraph 2(4) to (7) of that Schedule, and

(b) section 15 (duty of local authority to ensure visits to looked after children and others) in so far as it inserts section 23ZA(1)(b) into the 1989 Act for the purpose only of enabling regulations to be made.
