Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Apportionment of Money in the National Lottery Distribution Fund Order 2010 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2 Apportionment of Money in the National Lottery Distribution Fund

(1) Section 22(3) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (apportionment of money in Distribution Fund) is amended as follows with effect from the beginning of 1 April 2011.

(2) In paragraph (a) (allocation for expenditure on or connected with the arts) for “16⅔ per cent.” substitute “18 per cent.”.

(3) In paragraph (b) (allocation for expenditure on or connected with sport) for “16⅔ per cent.” substitute “18 per cent.”.

(4) In paragraph (c) (allocation for expenditure on or connected with the national heritage) for “16⅔ per cent.” substitute “18 per cent.”.

(5) In paragraph (d) (allocation for prescribed expenditure) for “50 per cent.” substitute “46 per cent.”.

Section 3 Apportionment of Money in the National Lottery Distribution Fund

(1) Section 22(3) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (apportionment of money in Distribution Fund) is amended as follows with effect from the beginning of 1 April 2012.

(2) In paragraph (a) for “18 per cent.” substitute “20 per cent.”.

(3) In paragraph (b) for “18 per cent.” substitute “20 per cent.”.

(4) In paragraph (c) for “18 per cent.” substitute “20 per cent.”.

(5) In paragraph (d) for “46 per cent.” substitute “40 per cent.”.
