Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and shall come into force on 31st December 2010.

Section 2 Amendments to the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) Regulations 1992

The Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) Regulations 1992 are amended as follows in relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 2011.

Section 3 Rules for the calculation of non-domestic rating contributions

In Schedule 1—

(a) for paragraph 1(4), substitute—

(4) A special authority’s non-domestic rating contribution for the financial year beginning on 1st April 2011 shall be the amount calculated under sub-paragraph (2) less £10,200,000.

(b) in paragraph 4(4)—

(i) for “2010”, substitute “2011”; and

(ii) for “£84,442,000”, substitute “£84,000,000”; and

(c) for Part II, substitute—
