Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating (Unoccupied Property) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and shall come into force on 1st April 2010.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England only.

Section 2 Hereditaments not prescribed for the purposes of section 45(1)(d) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988

(1) The Non-Domestic Rating (Unoccupied Property) (England) Regulations 2008 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 4(g)—

(a) subject to sub-paragraph (b), for “£2,200” substitute “£2,600”;

(b) in relation to the financial year beginning on 1st April 2010, for “£2,200” substitute “£18,000”.
