Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as The Legislative Reform (Revocation of Prescribed Form of Penalty Notice for Disorderly Behaviour) Order 2010 and shall come into force on the day after the date on which the Order is made.

(2) It extends to England and Wales only.

Section 2 Amendments

Section 3 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 is amended as follows—

(a) omit paragraph (a) of subsection (3),

(b) omit subsection (4), and

(c) in subsection (5), omit the words “regulations or”.

Section 3 Revocations

The following Regulations and provisions are revoked—

(a) the Penalties for Disorderly Behaviour (Form of Penalty Notice) Regulations 2002 ,

(b) the Penalties for Disorderly Behaviour (Form of Penalty Notice) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 ,

(c) article 2 of the Courts Act 2005 (Consequential Provisions) ( No. 2) Order 2005 insofar only as it applies to paragraph 200 of the Schedule to that Order, and

(d) the Penalties for Disorderly Behaviour (Form of Penalty Notice) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 .
