Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Pension Protection Fund (Pension Compensation Cap) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 1st April 2010.

Section 2The compensation cap

The amount specified for the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “the compensation cap” in paragraph 26(7) of Schedule 7 to the Pensions Act 2004 (pension compensation provisions – compensation cap) is £33,054.09.

Section 3Revocation of the Pension Protection Fund (Pension Compensation Cap) Order 2009

The Pension Protection Fund (Pension Compensation Cap) Order 2009 is revoked.
