Section 1Citation, commencement and extent
This Order may be cited as the Assured Tenancies (Amendment) (England) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 1st October 2010.

Section 2Citation, commencement and extent
This Order extends to England only.
Section 3Increase in rental threshold
(1) Schedule 1 to the Housing Act 1988 (tenancies which cannot be assured tenancies) is amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) In sub-paragraph (1)(b) of paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 (tenancies of dwelling-houses with high rateable values) for “£25,000” substitute “£100,000”.
