Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2010.

(2) Except for the purposes of Part 2 of the Schedule, this Order comes into force on 1 October 2010.

(3) For the purposes of Part 2 of the Schedule, this Order comes into force on 31 December 2011.

(4) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Section 2 Additional public authorities

In Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Act (local government) after paragraph 35B insert—

(35C) An urban development corporation established under section 135 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980.

Section 3 Additional public authorities

In Part 6 of Schedule 1 to the Act (other public bodies and offices: general) insert, at the appropriate place in each case, the entries listed in the Schedule to this Order.
