Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2011.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st October 2011.

(3) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Section 2 Additional public authorities

(1) In Part 6 of Schedule 1 to the Act (other public bodies and offices: general) insert, at the appropriate place in each case, the entries listed in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Order.

(2) In Part 7 of Schedule 1 to the Act (other public bodies and offices: Northern Ireland) insert, at the appropriate place in each case, the entries listed in Part 2 of the Schedule to this Order.
