Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Act 2011 (Repeal of Alternative Vote Provisions) Order 2011 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2Repeal of alternative vote provisions
In the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Act 2011, the following are repealed—
(a) section 9 (the alternative vote system: amendments),
(b) Schedule 10 (the alternative vote system: further amendments), and
(c) Part 1 of Schedule 12 (repeals: voting system for parliamentary elections).
