Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Terrorism Act 2000 (Designated Ports) Order 2011.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st September 2011.

Section 2 Amendments to the Terrorism Act 2000

(1) The Terrorism Act 2000 is amended as follows.

(2) In Schedule 7 (port and border controls), in the table (designated ports: Great Britain), under the heading “Seaports”–

(a) after the entry for “Holyhead” insert “Loch Ryan”;

(b) omit the entry for “Stranraer”.
