Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2011.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 1st March 2011

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1st March 2011:

Section 12 for England only;

Sections 13 to 16;

Section 38.

Section 3 Provisions coming into force on 6th April 2011

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 6th April 2011:

Section 1;

Sections 3 to 6;

Sections 11 for England only;

Section 17;

Sections 32 to 36 for England only;

Section 37;

Section 39 for England only;

Section 105.

Section 4 Provisions coming into force on 1st August 2011

Sections 32 to 36 come into force in relation to Wales on 1st August 2011.
