Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Police and Justice Act 2006 (Commencement No. 14) Order 2011.

Section 2 Appointed day

(1) The following provisions of the Police and Justice Act 2006 come into force on 3rd October 2011 in the relevant local justice areas —

(a) section 45 (attendance by accused at certain preliminary or sentencing hearings), to the extent that it is not already in force; and

(b) section 46 (live link bail).

(2) The relevant local justice areas are: Central Hertfordshire; Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston; East Hertfordshire; Halton; Macclesfield; North Hertfordshire; South Cheshire; Vale Royal; Warrington; and West Hertfordshire.
