Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Derelict Land Clearance Area (Highbarns, Hemel Hempstead) Order 2011 and comes into force on 10th October 2011.

Section 2 Derelict Land Clearance Area

(1) Subsections (1) to (6) of section 1 of the Derelict Land Act 1982 shall have effect in relation to land in the locality shown bounded by the outside edge of a bold red line on the map, as they have effect in relation to land in a development area or intermediate area.

(2) In paragraph (1) , “the map” means the map marked “Map referred to in the Derelict Land Clearance Area (Highbarns, Hemel Hempstead) Order 2011” and signed by authority of the Secretary of State, duplicates of which have been deposited, and are available for inspection, at the offices of the Dacorum Borough Council and at the offices of the Secretary of State.
