Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations—

(a) may be cited as the Landfill (Maximum Landfill Amount) Regulations 2011; and

(b) come into force on 1st October 2011.

Section 2 Landfill targets

The maximum amount of biodegradable municipal waste by weight in tonnes that may be sent to landfill from each area specified in the table in each scheme year that is a target year must be in accordance with the table.

Section 3 Revocation

The Landfill (Scheme Year and Maximum Landfill Amount) Regulations 2004 are revoked, except for regulations 1 and 2.
